HOW TO GET FROM ISTANBUL TO CAPPADOCIA BY BUS?
Taking a night bus from Istanbul to Cappadocia is likely the cheapest travel option. The distance between Istanbul and Cappadocia is approximately 750 km, and the journey typically takes 12–13 hours, depending on the bus company and route.
Some of the most popular bus operators for this route include Metro Turizm, Nevşehir Seyahat, and Kamil Koç Turizm. Ticket prices for a one-way trip usually range between 150 and 200 Turkish Lira per person, making it an affordable choice for budget travelers.
Important Note: If you are not comfortable with long bus rides, this option may not be ideal, as the overnight journey can be tiring. However, it can also save you the cost of one night’s accommodation, which is a benefit for travelers on a budget.
HOW TO GET FROM ISTANBUL TO CAPPADOCIA BY TRAIN?
Currently, there is no direct train connecting Istanbul to Cappadocia. However, it is possible to combine train and bus travel to reach your destination.
One option is to take a train from Istanbul to Konya, and then continue by bus from Konya to Cappadocia. Ticket prices for the train range from 85 to 100 Turkish Lira, while the bus from Konya to Cappadocia costs approximately 110 to 150 Turkish Lira.
